Are you someone who loves to sew but making color combination choices make you nervous? Do you hate the time consuming task of cutting all the pieces to make a quilt? Do you get half done and realize you are not going to have enough material to finish the whole quilt?The solution is a KIT. Let me take your favorite color or style and cut all the pieces for you. It's a great way for a beginner to start and gives the more advanced quilter a break from the more tedious tasks that putting the top of a quilt together requires.
You can suggest a color or two.....and a type of fabric (solid colors, batiks, juvenile prints, theme prints, flower, stripes, or scrappy) and I'll do the cutting. I'll include directions for sewing the pieces together to make a wall hanging, baby quilt, lap quilt, or twin size and even include the binding - all sewn together, folded and ready to add to your finished quilt.
All you will need to do is make the blocks, sew them together, add batting and a back and sew on the pre-made binding from the kit. No time consuming measuring or costly cutting errors to make and you'll have a gorgeous homemade quilt for you or your loved ones!
I'll cut all the pieces, put one quilt block together for a visual guide and give you instructions for completing the quilt top.
Choices: nine patch, log cabin, rail fence, courthouse steps, one patch (fussy cut center block with sashing and cornerstones or a log cabin variation), 4 patch with alternating one patch blocks. Each kit would include sashing if appropriate and one or two borders with matching binding.
Cost to you for the kit will be 4 cents per square inch. For example, if you want a 40" x 50" baby quilt the kit will cost $80.00. This includes all the material for the top plus the binding.

Memory Quilt Squares
If you want to use photos in a quilt you are making, I can create memory quilt squares by putting your pictures on cloth. Pictures are closely spaced and copied to transfer paper. The transfer is cut apart and pressed to white 100% cotton, high thread count cloth. I trim each picture to your specification or with a border of 1 inch around the picture that allows you to trim to size.price: $4 per picture (includes return shipping)
